Privacy policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This policy explains how LabelNest and this website handle information. LabelNest is provided by Lei Cui. For privacy questions, email otiscui@icloud.com.
Your photos, stickers, and label projects are processed on your device. LabelNest does not upload them to us or to a cloud AI service. The app has no account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or tracking SDK.
This does not mean that no information ever leaves your device: Apple purchases, files you choose to share or print, device backups, visits to this website, and emails you send us are described below.
Photos, camera, and local work
LabelNest uses the system photo picker to access photos you choose. It does not scan your entire photo library. If a selected photo is stored in iCloud Photos, the system may download it to your device. Camera access is requested when you choose to take a photo; you can change permission in iOS or iPadOS Settings.
Background removal and sticker effects use Apple’s on-device Vision and Core Image frameworks. They do not send your images to a LabelNest server or an external AI service. Subject detection is used to isolate image content, not to identify a person.
Projects, label text, copies, layout settings, stickers, and imported image copies are saved in the app’s local storage. A saved sticker can include a source image copy, a cutout, and a rendered version with your chosen effects. LabelNest may resize imported images for editing and storage; it does not modify the original in your Photos library.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Your library remains on your device until you change or remove it. LabelNest may retain a previous local library snapshot for recovery. Deleting a project or sticker removes its library entry, but associated image files may remain because other projects or labels can reference them.
To remove the app’s local storage completely, use Delete App in your device settings, rather than Offload App. Save any work you want to keep first. PDFs, backups, and images you have exported elsewhere are separate copies and must be deleted at their destinations.
Your Apple device backup settings may include LabelNest’s local data in an iCloud or computer backup. LabelNest does not provide its own cloud account or automatic cross-device library sync. Manage device backups through Apple’s settings and tools. We cannot access or remotely delete your local library or copies held by your chosen providers.
Apple purchases and diagnostics
If you make or restore an in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction. LabelNest uses StoreKit to read product information and verified purchase entitlements, including refunds or revocations, so it can determine which features are unlocked. We do not receive your payment card details or Apple Account password.
Apple may provide the developer with sales and purchase reports, and usage or diagnostic information according to Apple’s services and your sharing choices. This is separate from an analytics SDK inside LabelNest. See Apple’s App Store & Privacy information for details.
This website
This website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare receives technical request information, which may include your IP address, requested URLs, browser or system information, and traffic metadata, to deliver and protect the site. Technical logs or aggregate traffic information may be available through the hosting service. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
We do not add advertising, analytics scripts, embedded trackers, or a contact form to this site. Its pages do not set application cookies or use browser local storage. Following an external link takes you to another service with its own privacy practices.
Support emails and your choices
If you email us, we receive your email address, the message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your question, investigate the issue, and maintain the support correspondence. Email is handled by the email providers involved; it is not part of the app’s local-only image processing.
Do not send passwords, payment card details, or private photos and project backups unless they are necessary for your request. A short description and a redacted screenshot are usually enough. For a child’s information, a parent or guardian should contact us.
We retain support correspondence as needed to handle the request and keep necessary support or legal records. You can ask to access, correct, or delete information you sent us by emailing otiscui@icloud.com. We may need enough information to verify the request. We do not sell your personal information or use support messages for advertising.
Policy updates
If these practices change, we will update this page and its date. Material changes will be described in the updated policy.
